Pakistan Women’s Football Team Heads to Indonesia for AFC Cup

Pakistan’s women’s football team is ready to take on the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers as they head to Indonesia tonight. With high hopes and focused preparation, the team aims to make a mark on the international stage.

Final Preparations Complete

The squad wrapped up its training camp at Islamabad’s Jinnah Stadium earlier today. President of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), Syed Mohsen Gilani, visited the camp to offer encouragement. He met with players and coaches, expressing full confidence in their abilities and dedication.

Head Coach Adeel Rizki led the training sessions, ensuring the squad was physically and tactically ready for the challenge ahead.

Group Stage Line-Up

Pakistan is placed in Group E, where they will compete against Chinese Taipei, host Indonesia, and Kyrgyzstan. The tournament kicks off on June 29. Pakistan will play its opening match against Chinese Taipei, followed by games against Indonesia on July 2 and Kyrgyzstan on July 5.

All matches will take place at the Sport Center Kelapa Dua Tangerang in Indonesia.

Travel Plans

The team departs tonight on a private airline, traveling through Karachi and Bangkok before arriving in Jakarta. Officials and coaching staff will accompany the players to ensure a smooth transition into the tournament setting.
