RAWALPINDI: India launched multiple missile attacks on Pakistanis airbases, targeting Nur Khan, Murid, and Shorkot bases with air-launched missiles, according to DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
Speaking at a media briefing held at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, DG ISPR confirmed that the missiles were fired from Indian aircraft. He also revealed that India carried out a drone strike inside Afghanistan, escalating regional tensions further.
“India is aggressively pushing the entire region towards war with its reckless actions,” said Lt Gen Chaudhry. He described India’s moves as irresponsible and dangerous, warning of serious consequences if the aggression continues.
Despite the attacks, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has not suffered any losses. “All our assets are safe, and we are fully prepared for any response,” he assured. He added that PAF is on high alert, ready to retaliate if necessary.
Lt Gen Chaudhry accused India of pursuing a deliberate strategy to destabilize South Asia. He said, “India’s deceit and aggression will not deter us. We are ready for whatever response is necessary to defend our sovereignty.”
He stressed that Pakistan would not be intimidated. “The Pakistani nation stands united with its armed forces,” he declared, calling the attacks another example of India’s expansionist mindset.
The DG ISPR urged the international community to intervene immediately. He said the world must hold India accountable before the situation spirals into a full-scale regional conflict.
“These actions threaten not just Pakistan, but the peace and stability of the entire region,” he said. He appealed for a strong diplomatic response and warned that continued silence will only embolden further aggression.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s leadership remains in constant contact with its allies and international partners to convey the seriousness of India’s actions.
As tensions continue to rise, the armed forces of Pakistan remain fully deployed and operational across key points. Military sources confirm that vital infrastructure is being secured and defensive measures have been reinforced.
