Following Indian missile attacks on multiple locations in Pakistan, political leaders across the spectrum have strongly condemned the aggression, calling it a cowardly assault on civilians and a threat to regional peace.
Civilian Casualties Spark Outrage
India’s missile strikes targeted six areas in Pakistan, killing 26 people—including two three-year-old girls and seven women—and injuring 46 others. Locations hit included Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad. The attacks drew a unified response from Pakistan’s top political figures.
Bilawal Bhutto: “This is savagery”
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari labeled the strikes a “cowardly attack” on innocent civilians. He stated, “Targeting women and children is not strength, it is savagery.However ” Calling it an act of war, he vowed that Pakistan’s response would be decisive and powerful.

Maryam Nawaz: “India’s true face is exposed”
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif condemned the attacks as a direct threat to peace. She praised the Pakistan Air Force for its quick retaliation, which she said forced India to pull back. “Pakistan seeks peace, but will never compromise on its sovereignty,” she asserted.
Omar Ayub: “India only understands force”
PTI’s Omar Ayub said India’s leadership only understands strength. Praising the Pakistan Air Force for shooting down five Indian aircraft, However he warned, “Trespass at your own risk. You will be shot down.”
Sherry Rehman: “Modi started it—Pakistan will end it”
Senator Sherry Rehman called the missile strikes unforgivable. “Modi’s actions have put the entire region at risk,” she said, promising that Pakistan would no longer stay silent.
Strong National Unity
Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid also hailed the armed forces’ swift response. Aurangzeb warned that Pakistan’s borders are a red line. “Every attack will be met with double force.” Sheikh Rashid added, “If Pakistan decides, the enemy will have no safe place left. Our patience has run out.”
