Pakistan Demands Transparency
āWe are ready for a neutral inquiry into the Pahalgam incident,ā Rana Sanaullah asserted. He emphasized Pakistanās willingness to cooperate with any credible effort to uncover the truth. āWe would accept a joint investigation or even a third-party expert-led probe,ā he added.
Rana Sanaullah questioned Indiaās narrative, calling its reporting of the attack inconsistent and suspicious. He pointed to irregularities in the sequence of events and said the timing of the incident hints at a ālarger, pre-planned agenda.ā He insisted that only a transparent investigation can reveal who truly orchestrated the āheinous act.ā
India Accused of Destabilizing the Region
The advisor warned that Indiaās recent conduct is pushing the region toward dangerous instability. āIndia refuses to accept Pakistanās existence and continues to act with hostility,ā he said. He also condemned New Delhiās decision to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty immediately after the Pahalgam incident.
āThese steps are not just reactionary ā they are premeditated,ā he stated. āIndia is attempting to gain political mileage while diverting attention from its failure in Kashmir.ā
Kashmir Struggle Cannot Be Suppressed
Rana Sanaullah said that despite heavy military deployment and years of crackdowns, India has failed to crush the freedom movement in Kashmir. āThe people of Kashmir are still denied their basic right to self-determination,ā he noted. āNo amount of force or repression can extinguish their desire for independence.ā
He stressed that Pakistan continues to stand by the Kashmiri people in their struggle and will raise the issue on all international platforms.
Pakistanās Stance on Security
Commenting on Pakistanās security strategy, the advisor said the country has always advocated for peace. āPakistan will never initiate aggression,ā he clarified, ābut if provoked, we will respond with equal force and intensity.ā
He also criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for using anti-Pakistan rhetoric as a political tool. āModiās entire politics is built on hostility towards Pakistan. Such tactics aim to stir public emotions ahead of domestic elections,ā Rana Sanaullah remarked.
Call for International Attention
Rana Sanaullah urged the global community to take note of Indiaās aggressive posture and support efforts for regional peace. He reiterated that Pakistan seeks truth and transparency, not conflict.
āIndiaās efforts to malign Pakistan are part of a larger agenda to shift blame and justify its repressive actions in Kashmir,ā he concluded.
