Tensions soared between the pair and the Royal Family when it was unveiled that Harry and Meghan would give Oprah Winfrey a wide-ranging interview-going against Windsors’ long-held mantra of “never complain, never justify.”

Short snippets from the interview reveal, the duchess that she can’t be made to “only be quiet” if the Royal Family plays an “active part” in “perpetuating falsehoods” about her.

In an interview, the co-author of Harry and Meghan’s biography, Finding Freedom, asked whether the palace had requested an investigation into the duchess, but had not done so with Prince Andrew.

Buckingham Palace announced on Wednesday that it will investigate charges of harassment against the Duchess during her tenure as a working princess after The Times newspaper revealed that she had “destroyed” one member of the staff and left another in tears.

Author Carolyn Durant said, “There have been a couple of double expectations that we’re talking about.

She continued, “why is there an investigation into this bullying but there’s not been an investigation into Prince Andrew and the allegations surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and the women who have made allegations?
