According to the official Oman News Agency, a spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry said Oman is “profoundly concerned” by the attack and emphasized that it risks widening the already-tense Middle East conflict. The country called for an “immediate and comprehensive de-escalation,” warning that such unilateral military actions undermine years of diplomatic progress and could plunge the region into greater instability.
Oman’s rare public rebuke of the US underscores the growing unease among Gulf nations, many of whom are walking a tightrope between alliances with Washington and fears of being caught in the crossfire.
Qatar Warns of “Catastrophic Repercussions”
Qatar also expressed alarm over the US military operation, describing the current situation as extremely dangerous. In a sharply worded statement, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks and warned that heightened tensions could have “catastrophic repercussions” not only for the region but for the entire international community.
Doha stressed the need to stop all military actions and urged a return to “dialogue and diplomatic channels” to resolve ongoing disputes. The Qatari government called for cool heads to prevail, noting that continued aggression only fuels violence and pushes a peaceful resolution further out of reach.

Iraq, which has repeatedly been caught between US-Iran tensions on its own soil, said that targeting nuclear infrastructure sets a dangerous precedent. Officials emphasized the importance of respecting international agreements and avoiding provocative military actions that could ignite a broader conflict across the Middle East.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry called on all parties to exercise restraint and prioritize diplomacy over confrontation. It urged the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take swift steps to prevent further escalation and safeguard regional stability.
The condemnation from Oman, Qatar, and Iraq signals a serious diplomatic rift forming around the US strike.
