Israel Bombs 100 Gaza Targets in 24 Hours, Over 70 Palestinians Killed

The Israeli military claimed on Saturday that its fighter jets struck 100 targets across Gaza in the past 24 hours.
According to the army, one of the key targets was a rocket launcher used to fire at southern Israel yesterday. The statement also said the airstrikes hit underground tunnels, command centers, and infrastructure allegedly used by Palestinian fighters.
Dozens Killed in Nonstop Bombardment
Palestinian health officials reported that more than 70 people were killed across Gaza during this wave of Israeli attacks. Many of the victims were civilians, including women and children. Residential areas in central and northern Gaza suffered heavy bombardment throughout the night.
Eyewitnesses described a terrifying scene as buildings collapsed and emergency workers struggled to pull survivors from the rubble.
Israelās War Strategy Intensifies
This is part of a broader offensive under the operation Gideonās Chariots. Israelās aim, according to officials, is to gain total control over Gaza by eliminating what it calls āterror infrastructure.ā
The military has ordered Palestinians to evacuate more areas, pushing families into increasingly smaller zones. Humanitarian workers say the displacement has reached dangerous levels, with no safe place left in the besieged strip.
Calls for Ceasefire Grow Louder
International condemnation continues to build. Rights groups and humanitarian organizations have called the attacks indiscriminate and disproportionate. They warn that such operations amount to collective punishment of an entire population.

The UN and several countries have urged an immediate ceasefire. However, no diplomatic progress has been made so far.
Aid Blocked as Starvation Spreads
Meanwhile, humanitarian aid remains restricted. Only a trickle of supplies is allowed into Gaza, and those are often limited to the southern areas. Martin Griffiths, the former head of UN humanitarian affairs, called the situation āweaponisation of aid.ā
He said the aid strategy is designed to force people to relocate, describing it as āaid with displacement and victimisation.ā
Gazaās Situation Turns Apocalyptic
The images emerging from Gaza are devastating. Entire neighborhoods lie in ruins. Families sleep on rubble. Hospitals are overwhelmed. Clean water and food are running out. Thousands of people, including children, are suffering from malnutrition and untreated injuries.
Gazaās population is now fighting for survival with little international protection or assistance.
No Sign of De-escalation
Despite global pressure and rising civilian casualties, Israel shows no signs of slowing down its military operations. Officials say the strikes will continue until they āneutralize threats.ā
Analysts warn that if this trajectory continues, Gaza could face irreversible destruction. The ongoing air raids are not just military actionsāthey are reshaping Gazaās entire landscape.
