Pakistan Warns India Against Provocative Rhetoric

Pakistan has strongly condemned recent remarks made by the Indian Prime Minister, calling them a direct threat to regional stability. In a statement issued Friday, the Foreign Office rejected what it described as baseless and inflammatory allegations made during a speech in Rajasthan.

India Accused of Fueling Tensions

The Foreign Office labeled the comments as provocative and irresponsible, warning that such rhetoric serves narrow political interests while threatening broader peace in South Asia. It said the Indian leader’s statements were full of distortions and aimed at inflaming public opinion ahead of elections.

“This kind of rhetoric not only misleads the public but also breaches the UN Charter and basic norms of international relations,” the statement noted.

Rejecting Terrorism Allegations

Pakistan reiterated its role as a responsible partner in global counterterrorism efforts. It dismissed attempts to link Pakistan with terrorism as politically motivated and factually false.

The Foreign Office accused India of using Pakistan as a scapegoat to deflect attention from its own domestic issues, particularly human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). It said the world is increasingly recognizing the serious abuses occurring in the region.

Call for Responsible Conduct

The statement urged Indian leaders to abandon aggressive posturing and engage in peaceful dialogue. “Warmongering and threats do not serve any national interest,” it added.

Pakistan stressed that its commitment to peace must not be mistaken for weakness. The country remains fully capable of defending its sovereignty and will respond decisively to any aggression.

Prepared for Every Scenario

The Foreign Office reminded the international community that Pakistan has shown restraint in the face of hostility but will not hesitate to respond if provoked. It called for international attention to India’s hostile stance and warned against the dangers of glorifying conflict.

“Peace in South Asia can only be achieved through dialogue, mutual respect, and a commitment to international law,” the statement concluded.
