TEL AVIV – Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee has released a provocative video message on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), directly mocking Iran and its regional allies. In the video, Adraee refers to Iran and its backers as “dwarves” and labels them part of the “axis of procrastination and defeated subservience.”
Posting from central Tel Aviv, Adraee appeared defiant, delivering the message in Arabic with the clear aim of reaching a broader Middle Eastern audience. His post reads:
“Greetings from the heart of Tel Aviv to all the Iranian dwarves who are trying to raise the morale of the axis of procrastination and defeated subservience. We, the people of Israel, will remain alive, despite your aggressive missiles.”
The inflammatory language and tone are being seen as part of a broader psychological and propaganda campaign amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran.

Video Fuels Regional Tensions
Adraee’s message comes at a time of heightened hostility between Israel and Iran, following recent Israeli airstrikes and Iranian retaliatory threats. Observers say the language used by the Israeli spokesperson is unusually aggressive and may provoke further responses from Iran or its allies in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.
The video has quickly gained traction online, sparking backlash from pro-Iranian social media users and drawing attention from Arab media outlets. Many critics called the statement “insulting” and accused Israel of escalating tensions with inflammatory rhetoric.
No Official Response from Iran Yet
As of now, Iranian officials have not publicly responded to the video. However, state-linked media in Iran have highlighted the post and criticized Adraee’s remarks as disrespectful and provocative.
Diplomatic analysts warn that such exchanges on social platforms, especially from official military figures, carry the risk of deepening already dangerous conflicts. The international community continues to call for restraint as rhetoric between both sides intensifies.
