In a joint message released through the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the top brass of the armed forces conveyed prayers for peace, unity, and the prosperity of the nation.
“Eid ul Adha is a sacred time for reflection, sacrifice, and unity,” read the statement. The military leaders expressed hope that this blessed occasion would bring harmony to society and strengthen the collective resolve of the Pakistani people.
Armed Forces Reaffirm Commitment to National Sovereignty
The joint message underscored the military’s steadfast commitment to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. “The Pakistan Armed Forces stand resolutely with the people, united in purpose and steadfast in our sacred duty to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country,” the ISPR stated.

Acknowledging the continued resilience of Pakistan’s citizens, the armed forces also praised the bravery of soldiers, police, and security personnel who protect the nation against all threats. Nation Pays Tribute to Martyrs and Their Families
On this solemn occasion of Eid ul Adha, the armed forces paid special tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan—Shuhada-e-Pakistan—who sacrificed their lives for peace and national defence. The statement honoured their families and recognised their unmatched sacrifices.
“On this day of reverence, we also honour the noble families of our Shuhada whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of peace and the nation,” the message noted. It served as a reminder that the freedoms and peace enjoyed today are the result of extraordinary sacrifices made by brave men and women in uniform.
