The high-level session took place at the Governor House in Lahore on Saturday. Alongside the prime minister and president, key figures such as National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Punjab Governor Salim Haider Khan, and Senator Saleem Mandviwalla also joined.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the leaders reviewed the country’s internal political climate and security conditions. They also explored strategies to strengthen cooperation between coalition partners.

Budget Must Prioritize Public Welfare

President Zardari emphasized that the upcoming Federal Budget 2025 must prioritize the common man. The president also called on political allies to stay united and move forward collectively in the national interest. He stressed that political stability would only come through collaboration and shared goals.

During the meeting, the participants also reviewed Prime Minister Shehbaz’s recent foreign visits. They discussed the impact of diplomatic engagements on Pakistan’s economy and political standing.
