
Pakistan’s strategic partnership with China has entered a new era of strength and cooperation, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. Speaking after wrapping up a three-day visit to China, he called the trip highly productive and a breakthrough in diplomatic progress.
Productive Visit to China
Dar emphasized that the visit deepened bilateral engagement and opened doors to enhanced cooperation in multiple sectors. Meetings with top Chinese officials, including high-level political and economic talks, solidified Pakistan’s commitment to its all-weather friend.
He noted that both sides agreed to accelerate existing projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Discussions also focused on boosting economic ties, expanding trade, and reinforcing regional stability through joint initiatives.

74 Years of Diplomatic Ties
Meanwhile, in Islamabad, China and Pakistan marked the 74th anniversary of diplomatic relations with a ceremony attended by government officials and dignitaries. Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong addressed the gathering, reaffirming China’s unwavering support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Iron-Clad Friendship
Ambassador Jiang described the China-Pakistan relationship as “iron-clad” and unshakable. He highlighted that the friendship between the two nations had endured global challenges and remained strong, rooted in mutual respect, trust, and cooperation.
He praised Pakistan’s consistent support for the “One China” policy and emphasized that Beijing would continue to back Islamabad in times of need. The ambassador also noted that both countries remain committed to promoting peace, stability, and development in the region.

Both leaders echoed a shared vision for deepening cooperation in technology, security, infrastructure, and education. They pledged to continue building upon their strategic partnership to bring prosperity to both nations and ensure regional progress.
