Pakistan’s military command declared Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos a successful, coordinated response to Indian attacks, emphasizing national unity, technological strength, and precise retaliation. The Pakistan Army claimed to have fulfilled all promises made to the nation in the face of conflict.
Nationwide Response to Cross-Border Strikes
Director General ISPR, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, announced during a press briefing that Pakistan’s operation was a unified national response to Indian strikes on May 6 and 7. The attacks had resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children. Pakistan, he said, responded with resolve and precision.
Promises Made, Promises Kept
The military had earlier vowed three things: to respond on its terms, at its chosen time, and with undeniable impact. “We promised and delivered,” said Chaudhry, calling the operation a clear message that Pakistan’s sovereignty cannot be violated without consequences.

Targets and Tactics
Chaudhry detailed how Pakistan struck 26 Indian military installations, including bases in Suratgarh, Adampur, Pathankot, and Srinagar. Missile systems, command centers, and BrahMos launch sites were among the targets. He confirmed significant damage to infrastructure, while affirming that civilian areas were deliberately avoided.
Advanced Weaponry and Joint Operations
The operation featured precision-guided Fatah missiles, long-range artillery, and loitering munitions. Pakistan integrated air, navy, and army assets using real-time intelligence and network-centric warfare. This, Chaudhry said, demonstrated Pakistan’s evolving military capabilities.
Drones and Cyber Operations
India, he claimed, used drones to intimidate civilians. In response, Pakistani drones flew over major Indian cities, including New Delhi, targeting strategic zones. Cyber operations and counterterror actions also played key roles in the broader conflict management.
Strategic Deterrence Maintained
Chaudhry reaffirmed that Pakistan’s response was measured yet firm. “We don’t seek war,” he said, “but any violation will receive a decisive reply.” He added that Pakistan’s professionalism, ethics, and restraint were evident throughout the operation.
With increasing reliance on advanced technology and multi-domain strategies, Pakistan says it remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty—on all fronts.
