Karachi – April 19, 2025: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has released its monthly performance rankings for brokerage firms for the month of March 2025, recognizing top players across multiple performance categories. The rankings highlight key firms excelling in account activity, traded volume, traded value, new UINs, and overall investor engagement.

Top 10 Brokers – Most Active Accounts

Leading the chart for the most active accounts is AKD Securities Ltd., followed by Mohammad Munir Mohammad Ahmed Khanani Securities Ltd. and Arif Habib Ltd. Others in the top 10 include JS Global Capital Ltd., KTrade Securities Ltd., and BMA Capital Management Ltd., Foundation Securities (Pvt) Ltd, MRA Securities Ltd, Standard Capital Securities (Pvt) Ltd., and Darson Securities (Pvt) Ltd۔

Top 10 Brokers – Traded Volume

In terms of traded volume, MRA Securities Ltd. topped the list, with JS Global Capital Ltd. and AKD Securities Ltd. close behind. The list also featured Adam Usman Securities, Intermarket Securities, and Arif Habib Ltd.

Top 10 Brokers – Traded Value

MRA Securities Ltd. again led in traded value, followed by AKD Securities Ltd. and JS Global Capital Ltd. Other notable names included EFG Hermes Pakistan (now Intermarket Securities), Adam Securities, and Growth Securities (Pvt) Ltd.

Top 10 Brokers – New UINs

For acquiring the highest number of new Unique Identification Numbers (UINs), JS Global Capital Ltd. led the rankings, followed by AKD Securities Ltd. and KTrade Securities Ltd. The category also saw a strong presence from Arif Habib Ltd., Next Capital, and Darson Securities.

Top 10 Cities – New UINs

Karachi remained the top city for new UIN registrations, followed by Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad. Other cities in the list included Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Sargodha, Peshawar, and Gujranwala.

Top Brokers in GIS Auction – Value of Bids Placed
In the GIS auction category, JS Global Capital Ltd. led in value of bids placed, with Next Capital Ltd. and Insight Securities ranking close behind. Adam Securities and Arif Habib Ltd. also featured prominently.

Top Brokers – Number of Investors

In investor rankings, Arif Habib Ltd. secured the top position, followed by Adam Securities Ltd. and JS Global Capital Ltd. Next Capital and Insight Securities rounded out the top five.

IPO Activity

Arif Habib Ltd. played a leading role in IPO activity for the month, managing the public offering of Barkat Frisan Agro Ltd.
