Pakistan U-19 clinched a 43-run victory against India U-19 in a Group Stage match of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup. Shahzaib Khan delivered a match-winning performance, scoring 159 runs off 147 balls. His brilliant innings earned him the Player of the Match award.

Winning the toss, Pakistan U-19 chose to bat first at the Dubai International Stadium. Shahzaib and Usman Khan gave the team a strong start with a 160-run partnership for the opening wicket. Usman contributed 60 runs off 94 balls, hitting six boundaries.

India U-19 bowlers tried to contain Pakistan’s scoring in the middle overs. Samarth Nagaraj was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets for 45 runs in his 10 overs. Ayush Mhatre also impressed, claiming 2 wickets for 30 runs in 7 overs. Kiran Chormale chipped in with 1 wicket for 46 runs.

Chasing 282, India U-19 struggled against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack. Nikhil Kumar led India’s batting effort with a solid 67 runs off 77 balls. Mohammed Enaan added a quick 30 off 22 balls, while Harvansh Singh Pangalia scored 26 off 28 balls.

India kept losing wickets at crucial moments and were eventually bowled out for 238 in 47.1 overs.

Pakistan Bowlers Seal the Win

Ali Raza spearheaded Pakistan’s bowling attack, taking 3 wickets for 36 runs in 9 overs. Faham-ul-Haq and Abdul Subhan supported him, claiming 2 wickets each. Subhan bowled a crucial spell, taking 2 wickets for 46 runs in 9.1 overs, while Faham took 2 for 41 in 8 overs.
