Gold Prices Continue Upward Surge in Global and Local Markets

Share the latest news updates

Gold prices are continuing their upward trend in both international and local markets. In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $8, reaching $2,631. Meanwhile, the local gold market also witnessed a sharp rise. The price of gold per tola surged by 800 rupees, hitting 274,300 rupees. Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams rose by 686 rupees, reaching 235,168 rupees.

Consistent Pattern of Increase

This surge follows a pattern observed over the past two days. Yesterday, the price of gold per ounce in the global market increased by $36. In the local market, gold prices soared by 3,600 rupees per tola. Market analysts attribute this trend to global economic uncertainties and a growing demand for safe-haven investments.

Silver Prices Remain Stable

In contrast to gold, silver prices showed no change. The price of one tola of silver remained at 3,250 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of silver stayed steady at 2,786 rupees.

Impact on Local Markets

The rising gold prices have increased interest from investors but created challenges for buyers in the local market. Jewelry retailers report reduced demand as customers struggle to afford the higher prices. However, investors see this as an opportunity to capitalize on the price surge.

Global Trends Drive Local Prices

Market experts are closely monitoring international trends that impact local gold pricing. Factors such as fluctuating exchange rates, geopolitical tensions, and economic policies are influencing gold prices worldwide. These developments continue to play a significant role in shaping local market dynamics.
