Prince Harry Finds Media Comments on His Memoir Hurtful

Prince Harry recently released his autobiographical book called ‘Spare’ which became a best-selling book according to the publisher of the book.

In this book, Harry revealed some minute details about his life in the Royal Family, his relationship with his parents and brother, his personal encounters, fights, and his time in the Afghanistan war.

About his time as a co-pilot on a helicopter in the Afghanistan war, he recalled that he killed 25 Taliban and he does not regret that decision because they were bad people and should be killed before they hurt good people.

However, the British Prince feels hurtful and angry with British Media for picking up his statement about killing 25 Taliban in Afghanistan and twisting it saying that he ‘boasted’ about it.

In an interview, Prince Harry said, “Without doubt the most dangerous lie that they have told is that I somehow boasted about the number of people that I killed in Afghanistan.”

He further went on to say, “I made a choice to share it because having spent nearly two decades working with veterans all around the world, I think the most important thing is to be honest and be able to give space to others to be able to share their experiences without any shame.”

Moreover, he mentioned that few days after the release of his book have been hurtful and challenging due to negative coverage by the media.
