Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf chairman Imran Khan congratulated the new general on his appointment as the new army chief
Recently General Asim Muneer became the 17th chief of Army Staff of Pakistan as he had a considerable amount of experience as a commander and intelligence officer.
Prime minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif took the decision of appointing General Asim Muneer as the army chief, which was later approved by President Arif Alvi.
PTI leader Imran Khan congratulated the new general and Chairman of the joint chief of army staff, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.
Imran Khan hopes that the new military leadership will work for the betterment of Pakistan.
