Stars that will light up FIFA world cup 2022

FIFA world cup 2022 is the most anticipated event of the year and fans have been speculating who will perform this year at the opening ceremony?

The confirmed line up involves Southeast Asian actor Nora Fatehi who will be the first Southeast Asian to perform at a FIFA world cup. She will perform along with Iraqi musician Rahma RIad, Moroccan singer Manal Benchlikha, and Emirati vocalist Balqees.

Who else will perform on the occasion is not yet known. However, it is being speculated that K-pop group BTS, British singer Dua Lipa and Shakira might perform at the opening ceremony.

BTS

The seven membered south Korean boy band BTS is the most popular K-pop group of all times. It was formed in 2013 and made debut in America in 2018 with huge success.

They have been nominated for Grammys and won tremendous awards, including a Billboard Music award.

Shakira

Columbian singer Shakira has been successfully working in the music industry since 2000s. she is a singer, songwriter, dancer and a philanthropist. She has sold over 75 million records all over the world.

She has been associated with FIFA world cup because she sang the most famous world cup song Waka Waka in 2010.  She is one of the best-selling musicians of all time.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is a British singer, songwriter and a model. She became famous when she released her self-titled album that produced the best-selling songs like IDGAF and Be the One.

It is not a confirmed news but rumors have been doing rounds that Shakira will open the FIFA world cup 2022 alongside BTS and Dua Lipa.
