ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan won a vote of confidence in the National Assembly today (Saturday) after the latest government downturn in the Senate elections.
Today, President Arif Alvi held the National Assembly meeting at 12:15 p.m.
PM Imran Khan thanked, in his address, the lawmakers for their support and trust in him.
Khan also thanked all the MNAs for extending their support to him and taking out the time to attend the session to vote.

Shortly after the PM won the vote of confidence, the official Twitter handle of the National Assembly shared an update on it.
Voting was ended at 1:10 PM. Later, the lawmakers started coming back into the House.
The premier needed 172 votes to win the vote of confidence.
