Katherine Heigl struggled with severe anxiety after being labelled as ‘difficult person’
The American famous actress, Katherine Heigl, in an interview with international media, has opened up about her experience of “shunning,” Hollywood, where she felt an onslaught of backlash.
The actress, 42, explained in an interview with The Washington Post, published on Thursday that working with a media narrative that she was difficult to work with was difficult.

Heigl continued, “What is your definition of difficult? Somebody with an opinion that you don’t like? Now, I’m 42, and that (expletive) pisses me off.”

“I didn’t realize how much anxiety I was living with until I got so bad that I had to really seek help,” she mentioned.
Heigl said she learned to “have a little more gentleness” toward herself with time to recover and self-reflect when she observed a recent improvement in the view of her by fans.
“It took a considerable time for me to feel confident enough [on social media] to read the comments since I just feared the worst,” she exclaimed.
