Karachi: On Sunday, Security forces killed five terrorists including two Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commanders amid the operations in North Waziristan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intelligence operations were carried out in Mirali and Khaisur areas of North Waziristan in which militant Raheem alias Abid remained involved in 17 terrorism acts against security forces from the year 2007.

According to ISPR, the slain terrorist commander Syed Rahim was involved in 17 terrorist attacks on security forces since 2007 and was also in charge of two suicide centers in Wana and Mirali.
“Anti-government agencies had given the task of target killing and recruitment of terrorists to commander Syed Rahim and was allegedly involved in the murder of four tribal elders in Mirali and three engineers of a company in North Waziristan,” said the ISPR

After an intense trade of fire between security forces and the banned TTP’s Sajna Group, Usman Ali and Waheed alias Lashtai were killed amid an IBO, stated the ISPR.
Later on, following a respite owing to the success of army operations violence has recently increased in North and South Waziristan.
