Google takes a toll on Yasir Hussain, Lists Esra Bilgic as Yasir’s Mother
Sunday bazar's clothes and Turkish dramas are going to ruin local industry says Hussain
Karachi: In the midst of the turmoil that took place between Pakistani celebrities over Turkish actor’s popularity, Google took the debate solemnly and listed Esra Bilgic as Yasir Hussain’s mother.
After the PM Imran Khan suggested Pakistani audience to watch the Turkish historic series Dirilis: Ertugrul which gave rise to a lot of debate from Pakistani Celebrities.
The Turkish TV series garnered so much fame and popularity, which led many companies in Pakistan to hire the leading actors from Ertugrul drama, and therefore, they became new faces for numerous local brands.
Esra Bilgic is also known as Halima Sultan was seen in many Pakistani ads.
However, to some Pakistani stars, this was something hard to bear. They became vocal about it, of them, Yasir Hussain was the one to remain in the limelight, like always.
Yasir Hussain claimed that Pakistani brands should not choose artists from foreign countries. Nor did he like the Turkish series being aired on national TV channels.
Hussain mocked, “Landy k kapray aur Turkey k dramay, dono hee local industry ko tabah kardein gay.” Meaning Sunday bazar’s clothes and Turkish dramas are going to ruin local industry [showbiz].
